Buyer says I did not list item as stated age!

In a dilemma. Sold a top for boys age 10. I must have forgotten to state it's age 10.
The lady purchased it however. Now once she has received it says that I didn't mention its age 10. She wanted it for age 3-4.
What should I do?
She hasn't asked for refund yet.
When u personally buy from eBay I make sure I have the right item by checking size. Iv come across plenty items that don't state size etc and then I message seller confirming the info.

Hmm, did you mention age at all anywhere on listing, Or even measurements?

Also what sub category did you list under?

No I didn't list age at all.

I think it probably best to just ask the buyer to return it for a full refund. Don't offer to pay the return postage though.

Yes plenty of items that dont state the size, But then buyers either pester them to get the size or bid and ask after or when they get the item that doesnt fit.

    Return for a full refund.

You need to put every minute detail when listing. They can return the item and you will have to refund them all their money.

Some sellers on here would also refund them the return postage because it was partially your fault.

I would have asked 1st though. But you have to treat ebay buyers as the thickest planks.

What colour is the car your selling. 12 pictures on ebay and a link to a further 47 pictures showing everything in minute details should give you a clue what colour it is surely? Didnt stop someone asking.

I agree with the others, ask her to return it for a full refund.

Although, you have to sctach your head sometimes.

'OOH look, this top hasn't got a size/or an age shown on the listing, but I'll just assume it'll fit my 3 - 4 and go ahead and buy anyway' !

As you listed in 2 to 12, I presume they no doubt then selected the 3 to 4 category, and your item appeared as it didn't state a specific category size, thus they probably assumed it was 3 to 4.

I buy a lot of kids clothes and find lots under the wrong category.

This mistake is kind of you, the buyers AND ebays fault.

Did it go for much money? If not, I think I'd just give a full refund.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
