Thorpe Park is a really good day out. Food inside the park can be quite pricey so that is one to take into consideration. You areetter off going on the big rides during lunch time as they are quiet with other people eating at that time. The shuttle bus fares from Staines train station to Thorpe Park :
Adult single £2.50
Adult return £3.50
Child single £2.00
Child return £2.50

You are better off getting an oyster card and using public transport to get everywhere when travelling around London. Bear in mind these can't be used to get to Thorpe Park you have to get tickets for this journey.
Covent Garden there is loads to do with some high street shops such as Accessorize and Paper Chase. There is a covered area where there are boutique shops, an indoor market and various places to sit down and eat. There is always free stuff to watch going on with the street entertainers putting on a show.:heart2: Self confessed Disney Freak:heart2:0 -
If you are interested in tradition, one of my top recommendations is to apply for free tickets to go to see the 'ceremony of the keys' - locking up the Tower of London for the night

Also, as you'll be travelling by train, make use of the many 2-4-1 offers with your train tickets (note that current offers expire at the end of the April, but from past experience they'll then offer a load of new ones expiring in September). Note that if you have tickets to and from London at the beginning and end of your stay you can use them for offers on any day between - just make sure you show both tickets if asked

Our favourite offer is for 2-4-1 'river roamer' tickets giving oyu all day travel up and down the Thames on the Thames clipper river boats0
