My Mother (77) refused a swap when needed a larger size. Yes I know there's no legal right, but how many stores would refuse, she wasn't asking for refund, the shirt was a gift and had all its tags etc.
The bloke in Carmarthen store actually said (I kid you not) "more than my job's worth" How to lose a very high spending customer, in a couple of minutes. At this time of year with so many gifts bought they must make a lot out of this but forget the literally dozens of purchases Mum would have made with them in the next year. Rude with it.

May I recommend you try again? My daughter got some presents from that store and was allowed to exchange purely because she did not like them.0
