Very good luck to you. Well done for combining overpaying and student life!Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D0 -
Many thanks for the warm welcome
.
We've been to the bank today and put our Christmas money in - I've already bought a coat so will be putting some of my money towards the CC bill to cover that and I've decided the rest of it can go half to mortgage overpayment and half to "the bedroom fund"I've done most of this place up apart from the kitchen (which there is money put aside for in the summer) and my bedroom (no money put aside for:() so I've decided to try and raise money for that by the summer. Can't do either now as they are too disruptive while studying - lesson learnt earlier this year... so I've spent lots of time on pinterest looking at ideas...

After reading your diary today I grabbed the whiskey bottle and emptied it ... Went for a wee walk up the street and put £3.60 into my account... Then transferred it to the mortgage ... Not sure when that will happen again but you spurred me on today ... Thanks me dear0
