    Give it another couple of years and it'll be a Chinese summer. Everything is made in China these days.

    Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
    Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

    Thanks all, a good friend died of skin cancer when we were in our twenties and it's always a worry.

    The lovely man is currently working his butt off tiling the kitchen while I sit drinking tea, should do something really but apart from checking how dark it is and putting the bin out I've done nothing:o
