If you can afford it - then do so. There's only so many summers.
    Fun money required!

It is indeed. Money is there to make you happy, not the other way round.

Had day out with DS on friday including a lovely lunch, he's quite fun to spend time with really and think he's missed me a bit as I've been working lots during the day and not around trying to chat to him:D Week one of hols over now!

Quite a quiet weekend as LM is attempting to paint my flat, 2/3 done now. He's not one for heights so very much appreciated:kisses2: Working as usual then out for something to eat with LM's mum, nice to catch up.

Oh and I've also cut the grass and done a wheen of ironing!

Sounds like you're trying to convince yourself... ;)

    Attempting?

One tin of paint. One firework. Light. Chuck. Leave the room within 4 seconds... ;)

    Heights? He's painting outside?
Oh and I've also cut the grass and done a wheen of ironing!

    So what's a wheen in metric? :p

Yes, he's painting outside and it's looking rather nice now, a couple more dry evenings should see it done (fingers crossed). I am of no help as I get panicky standing on stepladder indoors:o

A wheen comes from a hundred I think so hundreds of ironing and off to work today to iron some more...

I went to school with two brothers who were probably taller on their feet than you are on a stepladder... :rotfl:

And there I was thinking it was an imperial measurement of ironing like a cord is an imperial measurement of woodpiles...
