When you say "last the whole summer" do you just mean "working more than weekends"?

Fairly much so. Looks I won't be getting away before the kids go away though.

Nah more than that situation - very vicious boss who denies making decisions etc then shouts at me for stuff.

I'm working full time at the mo but if all of July is like this I might quit and try to get some temp work for aug/sep, life is too short!

    I shall quit moaning now:)

Indeed it is. And it was going so well and then you get dumped on...

No, it's your thread, you moan as loud and as often as you wish. If you can't talk freely here - where can you?

It's trying to weigh things up - bit of hassle now v regular income for the uni year without too much hassle... Have spoken to LM about it and he says if it's too much just to quit but can also see why I'm reluctant to do that. Not doing this next summer will be out of the door at end of April so it's not long as my signature says 14 weeks and counting. That's not too long to put up with it is it? Mmm...ponders...

What has changed? Is it a new manager?

Although it's convenient, becoming unhappy and/or ill over it is NOT convenient. Don't get so caught up in the 14 weeks thing that you don't see everything else suffering.

Ach he's not - he's a bluddy nutter! Not my fault and nothing I can do to change that and he owns it.

In answer to Z's question it's just you do different stuff during the week to weekends and there is just me doing it, no support and things go wrong as he takes on as much as possible without considering if he can fulfill orders without screaming customers. He can't as he doesn't have enough stuff or staff. He also has a mind like a sieve often asking me to do stuff then yelling at me for doing it as he's forgotten. It's his business and he thinks of us as his slaves.

Anyhow I'm off today so enough of that, not thinking about when not there;) and there's pulled pork cooking in the slow cooker so that is working as a distraction to EVERYTHING!:D

Well instead of walking out as a first option if it doesn't improve - what about moving back to weekends only?

    And dripping with innuendo...
so that is working as a distraction to EVERYTHING!:D

    As it is... ;) Enjoy.
