Celebrated anniversary of sorts with LM last night and decided to stay in and cook together rather than head out and spend... was worrying I was becoming a right miserable sod but the weather was blooming awful in the end and I was glad we didn't have to brave it. We are on a self imposed spending diet and I'm just worrying we get too obsessed but hopefully as it's only til June it'll be ok. I am taking DS out to cinema tomorrow though so must remember student card for discount:o
Working tomorrow and lots of essay writing this weekend, have overcome a sort of blockage though so hopefully it'll be quite easy to write now. Have read tons!Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

You're missing the "and proud" bit. You're supposed to announce you debt-freeness on the Debt-Free thread. Then the heavens will open, choirs will sing, cats will crash and a badger will give you a badge...
But congratulations to beanie all the same... :T:T:T:T :kisses3:"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I've searched for your posts, and there's nothing apart from congratulating beanie. The thread itself goes back to 2006.
Perhaps you announced it on some other thread?
Edit: Nope - I've found it: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/22808131#Comment_22808131"Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
