Day off today - after reflection I decided my extra for fun course was causing way too much stress as this is my only day to catch up with housework and study and generally take a breath:o I now accept the fact that I'm not 19 and don't live in the city...
So shopping done for the week for £25 and that includes stuff to do some batch cooking so should be less next week:cool: I am on a frugal-not-quite-fast and while I do have to spend some money I am cutting way back in order to replenish those savings and get the kitchen fund up. No more MOPs for a wee while, I shall just let that plod along at it's own pace. (Then again I'll probably reconsider yet again next week and OP:o)Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
Mortgage balance: £34,965

Not much money news here - car MOTed with no problems so nice and cheap:T:T Finally had to put more petrol in though but a tenner for three weeks is pretty good going:D Yes, I could probably get rid of it but I don't want to:p
Paid yesterday but went back into savings, I'm resisting urge to OP but need to start looking at kitchens soon:o
Happy Friday everyone, just one lecture today but two hour seminar afterwards, sandwiches made and water in fridge might manage an NSD.Mortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

Busy day at work:eek::eek: still good for business and they were all quite nice folk:D
Trying to catch up on all the stuff I forgot to do during the week now:o so list for tomorrow:
find backpack
sort out volunteer log form:o
iron
choose essay topics:(
and some big news... LM and I have decided to sell up and move in together, this may take some time as I need to sort the blooming kitchen first - note to self do not pull stuff off walls until ready to finish the job:o so we are on self imposed spending diet and I'm hoping to get down to £38K before starting on a whole new mortgage:eek: hopefully by end of year at the latest.
