Good Luck with the driving licence hunt - you have my full sympathy - i spend weeks looking for things sometimes!!!
Well done on finding the other thingsand on your hoovering and tidying too
Hope you don't mind me making a wee suggestion??? When you are going over your list i would suggest you focus on what you have done - sometimes people can use to do lists as a way of beating themselves up for not getting everything ticked off ( i know i used to). If you focus on what you have done though it feels much more positive - hope that makes sense! xxxxDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Evening everyone
Well after a stressful start to the week where I had to contact CAP Money AGAIN about my DMP (they say they're waiting to hear from Natwest, Natwest say they're waiting to hear from CAP, etc) it's not going too badly..... well actually I'm just counting down my last remaining day at proper work this week, yippee!! One day left and then I have the bank holiday to sort myself out and get stepping with a vengeance!
I was hoping to go to Legoland with my friend and her little boy on Thursday, but didn't realise the tickets are £45  so may not be able to afford it even with her half price passholder discount. Last time I used my Tesco reward vouchers but I don't have enough this timewill have to see if there's a cheaper option tomorrow, but £30 for a day out is just a bit much really.
Sooooo, current steps are:
1. Make a proper list of stuff to crack on with over my 5 days off - fairy, I saw your point about the to do lists and thought it was great, I do tend to look at what I haven't done rather than what I have!
2. Decide whether I can afford to go to a local slimming club, as I need a good kick up the !!!! to lose a stone. I can do a few lb's by myself but they creep back on and I think maybe justifying the extra cost (£26 per month for Rosemary Conley, for example!) would be worth it to give myself some motivation. I lost a couple of stone with WW about 10 years ago but would rather go down the Rosemary Conley/ boot camp route this time, as I reckon I need the exercise as well as someone telling me not to eat so much cake
3. Work out the best way to handle my OH's relationship with his friend, Evil Cow. Suzi, it is that his friends don't like her either, LOL! I can see it from the other point of view which is that I wouldn't like him telling me he didn't want me to see one of my male friends, but then none of my male friends are lazy, selfish, rude, greedy and manipulative. Meow.
Right, off to job no 2, enjoy the sunshine everyone!! xxxFinally debt free!! March 2018 :j0 -

It is easy to focus on what still needs to be done rather than what has been achieved, I agree. I tend to use lists just to remind me what needs doing rather than hoping for a sense of achievement/completion.
Tonight:
- dark wash (weather looks ok to hang it out tomorrow
- check kitty for fleas (all clear so far...)
- lunches need making for next two days and fishcakes need making for tomorrow's tea
- nails need repainting
All that and I'm on the overtime shift for the next week0 -

Yes i use it as a reminder but award myself afor each thing i have achieved so it works as both for me
. At one point we also added up our
on this thread - it was amazing how many things were achieved in a month.......I might start doing that again
Now what will i work on today i wonder.......:rotfl::rotfl:
Max out ebay accounts - i really want to have this marked off today!! ITS DONE YEY!!!!!!
move boxes from hallway - even if i have to empty and move i thing at a time lol
tidy living room - done
update blogs - risky manoeuvres donemany ways to make cash - done
free bingo - donewon 41p
go for a walk (with tub for blackberries maybe!) - done
check tv licence payment account
update finance records - done
add pics to fb selling page
research funding options
finish emptying the car -
wash the car
hmmmmm that feels like a massive list today even though its smaller than yesterdays lol. Will see how i get ongood luck all
