I forgot I have an exam tomorrow and my partners mum just called up to say my partner is being taken to hospital for severe chest pains... He had open heart surgery a year ago but he ended up having about 3 heart attacks during recovery. He's only 18 (im 19) im super stressed im juat sat here crying and shaking. Im so worried :'(

I hope everything is ok! Surely you can get something to allow a resit of exam due to circumstances?? huge hugs to you xxx

    Yeah :)
Woohoo might be getting my laptop tomorrow im so excited.

I did a few final things before going to bed.
    sorted out my in/out tray
got rid of un-needed past assignment notes,
Organized my current assignment & notes so all the notes and questions are together

I created myself a ''aim for (date) focus task" wipeboard thing using a plastic wallet and a piece of paper, so now I can set my self 3 mini tasks to do in one day and write an extra smaller task to do if I finished them. I thought it'll help me focus on my coursework better now i've organized everything else lol.

    Tomorrows "focus tasks" are;
Type up E2 using rough answer
Type up D1 & D2 using rough answer
    Write/type up E3 using notes
Smaller task is to add quotes to E1

Looking back i've done quite a bit today! :D

I still feel like i am flailing around a bit and not getting much done, (but apparently that is one of my negative thoughts according to psych so am trying not to pay it too much attention lol).

    Today i would like to:

    wash dishes - done :)
tidy up back patio - done :)
    put clean clothes away
list items for selling on ebay, facebook and gumtree - done :)
    blog update
    free bingo - done :)
    app trailers
    swaggers
    general tidy
move some more stuff into the caravan. - done :)

think that will do for now :)

I'm no expert but if you feel like you're flailing around at times, have you tried writing a list of things to do in the order they need doing. Then as you cross off the things you've done you'll see a greater sense of achievement rather than doing and crossing things off in no order and feeling higgledy-piggledy. Just a thought xx

Yes i've tried starting at the first item on my list and working through, but i think its just my MH makes me a bit higgledy piggledy in general LOL! I think I'm just being hard on myself too, considering everything i am managing to do while not well and the whole break up thing i'm doing more than a lot of people in my situation, i'm just used to doing a lot more than i am now........I think :rotfl::rotfl:

Maybe Fairy, you need to write each task on a small post-it note, stick them all on the fridge (or door or wherever) all higgledy-piggeldy (not in a neat, organised layout) and as you do each one, throw away the post-it then you'll see the "list" decreasing. Would cost you a small fortune in post-it notes though ;)

I haven't got much completed today.
I got my laptop !! it runs so smoothly now &
the new windows 8 set up is really useful - lots of short cuts instead of
going to one file to get to another to get to other files lol.

    Tomorrow
    - placement
    - E2, E3, E4 , D1 , D2 questions to type up/be attempted to do
    - sort wardrobe out
    - put washing away
