Well how time has flown by and its goal review time again!!! i wonder how things have progressed (or not) this month LOL!

To reduce debt by [STRIKE]£5000[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£10,000[/STRIKE] To become Debt Free

I am of course delighted with my progress in this area - almost £20K of a reduction thanks to the negotiating of settlements. :D At the minute however i am a little bit confused as to what to do about the remaining 2 debts - they are both fixed at 0% interest (as all of my debts were by cccs) and now i find myself thinking about making my money work for me and earning interest etc. I still have a very high level of WANT to be debt free but i also am conflicted with the question of what is the logical (best return) option. As a result i now have another few goals to add, namely, to pay off my mortgage and to build up an emergency fund pot. I will add these to my goals list and make them more specific as well! In the meantime i continue to pay £60 per month off my debts

To start exercising 3 times a week

This one is really evading me and i find i am actually doing less exercise than i was in January :o I continue to WANT to exercise but it really is a struggle. I have bought a bike now which i am hoping will help, but the weather has been so bad its still sitting unused :o:o:o. I even tried having a weeks focus on exercise but then my hip pain flared up and i could hardly walk upstairs :( i will try this again and add a counter to see how many days i do manage something :)

To get rid of the boxes and boxes of stuff I have gathered up

This goal is going well and i am still ebaying a lot of stuff and car booting when i can. I have set myself the target of getting rid of 100+ items in April :D

    To join a sewing group

I have decided to leave this one for now - i am not doing any crafting atm but might come back to it when i have cleared out a lot of stuff for previous goal

To lose at least 1 stone in weight

Hmmm this one is still not going well though i am trying to cut down on eating junk. Being on and off my HRT doesn't make things easy even for measuring as its up and down like a yo yo. I have weighed myself today and i am 10st 10.6lbs. I must check if thats any lower than the start of the month. I'd still like to aim for at least 1lb a week in April :)

ETA weight was 10st 11.8 on March 1st so i have lost a whole 1.2lbs this month :/ but at least it is a loss :) LOL

To do a business plan for my crafts and website

Again this has not been started even. I continually tell myself i must clear the old pics etc from the website but still i avoid it. :o:o My focus on crafts has gone for now and so it doesn't really fit with my current activity - i would like to try and see if i can link the website with something more current for me and hopefully that will help

To get my car back on the road

    done :)

    To sort my daily finances

    done :)

    Keep House Clean and Tidy

The plan for march was to get all the boxes into one room so i can maintain the tidiness of the rest of the house and i am pleased to say i have managed to do this :) For April i would like to try and keep to a daily cleaning routine

Get up to £1000 in my Zopa account

I have now started adding a bit of cash to this which will help to boost it to my £1000 goal :D i am almost at £700 in there now and for April i would like to get to £800 if i can (thats pushing it but i like to challenge myself lol)

Start the web design course - Again, nothing done with this - i thought about it again yesterday but in my head i guess i have it all linked with the craft website. I do still want to do it, so i am going to set myself a few hours a week to do some work on it (imagine i have a class to attend)

Ok so overall feel quite good about some goal progress and others i have completely avoided. I have now removed some goals and again set myself more specific/smaller goals for the ones i want to keep working on. I also want to add:

Pay off the Mortgage - obviously this is a very long term plan :rotfl::rotfl: and so i would like to set myself the short term goal of paying an extra £100 each month off it for now and see how i get on.

Build up an emergency fund pot of £5000. I have started on this and have £1000 set aside so far (left over from the life insurance i cashed in) - i'm not sure where to keep it as yet so i need to decide on that in April and of course keep adding to it as well.

Clear out the remainder of my stuff from spare room in old house - i have been working on this but not really had it on my goal list, so adding it now :)

Phew, bit of a tough review this month as i feel like i'm in a bit of a transition phase. It has helped me to look again at my goals though and alter them accordingly :D:D heres to plodding forwards in April :beer::beer:

Late check in for me today been doing some of my list that I haven't even written yet! Also just noticed my listing allowance on the bay has increased from 100 a month to 150! Its good timing actually as I had reached my listing allowance and these items don't finish until late Sunday evening and we will be at mils so wouldn't have been able to any new listings until Monday (assume I can't schedule if Im at my limit!). Small list for today. Will put rollies down too.

    Finish eBay business listings
    Do floors downstairs :)
Spend an hour in bedroom tidying and sorting out more stuff to sell etc :)
Pick up iron tablets (can't get till tues now- oops)

    Main one for today though---
    BLITZ THE HOUSE! :)

Its going to be gleaming by the time I am done! As a professional procrastinator this will be hard!

Think I'll also try and find 50 items to schedule for a Sunday start, not scheduling till tomorrow though.

    Morning :)

sounds like you had a productive day Natters :) u can come do my house now if you want LOL!

Well i had one of those days where you feel busy but get nought done :( I was sorting ebay stuff for most of the day cos it takes like 10 hrs to list anything using this dongle :( but at least i got things on :) My plans for car booting today were totally scuppered by my car having a dead battery - car not moved in about 3 weeks and i know i need a new battery but been putting it off! Silly me now has to walk 3 miles to get the bus into town to buy a battery charger so i can get the car moving again!! Doh!!!!

That will probably take me most of the day but if i manage it at least i can car boot tomorrow :)

Right hiking boots on then off i go!

Hope you all have a good day :) xxxx
