Don't click on recalculate after you have put it to 0 click on preview invoice if its correct click send invoice. Recalculate just takes it back to the original invoice.0

Cos of the fees. Just collect the cash at collection and keep the money away from greedy paypal."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0

It's not just the fees. If someone collects from you paying with Paypal and are not honest they can start a claim for non receipt of the item. You will lose this as you will have no proof of posting or receipt. Refund the Paypal payment and ask for cash.0

Yep, exactly - no postage = no proof of receipt.
Don't think that even a receipt signed by the buyer in their own blood along with a photo of the buyer taking the item away will count as proof - it won't!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Yep I agree with the above. You should never accept PayPal for an item that a buyer is collecting.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

I know this is just a 'me too' post but I must say it...DO NOT take paypal for a collected item as you can easily be scammed. Paypal is for online payments and if you read the terms and conditions you signed when you opened your account you will see that a buyer can chargeback if the item does not arrive. To prove delivery paypal require online tracking, which if an item is collected is obviously not available.
Therefore buyer collects item, a few days later claims non delivery and paypal refund their money from your account, and there is nothing at all you can do about it.
Cash on collection only. Or a cheque in advance and cleared before collection. If you adertised paypal on your auction then this might give you problems as the buyer can insist on paying that way, however, in my opinion it is worth taking a neg and a non performing seller complaint rather than lose money.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
