I've never had an unsealed box sent to me from there either. Has this happened more than once Pearl?[/QUOTE]

I ordered once from them and the product was unsealed. I never used them again. And yes I am judgemental - it my health and safety I'm interested in.
I would only want a sealed product for such personal item.

If you want to look at it like that then .... If they were that unscrupulous then they could easily re seal items anyway, and who's to say other companies don't re seal!

There should probably be a law that all personal hygenie products should be sealed. And I suspect one day that will happen.

And yes of course anyone can reseal a product it they wanted to.

Oh oh, just spent my Christmas money :D

Thanks for the post OP. Hope I'm in when it arrives or my neighbour is going to have a shock if she opens the parcel by mistake, lol.
    :j
I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.
  • You can also get 16-21% cashback if you shop via topcashback. Just saying...

Also, just offered to buy hubby a toy in the sale - he chose a full-price one. Grrrr.

What's all this "unsealed" nonsense about? I've never had that and if anything arrived that looked dubious, they accept returns no questions asked for up to a year after the original purchase date.
I've also sent in items to be recycled - there's a whole thing about it on their website to stop things going to landfill. They dispose of everything properly rather than just having it buried in the ground to mess the environment up even more.

2014 wins: maternity/nursing pillow, Magnum chocolate, baby stroller, Baileys cupcakes
Took a break while I moved country (twice).
    2018 wins:£400 meal for 4, Clipper tea
    2019 wins: flight voucher
  • I have had many (and i really do mean many!) orders from Lovehoney and NEVER had a problem with items not being sealed. I say, go for it. You won;t regret it ;)
November wins...a book, a designer handbag (worth £550 :T) and a game. I am now an addict and thank everyone for taking the time to share and post. :D
  • I've used this website several times and never received anything unsealed.
Nothing I fancy in the sale though, oh well! Thanks anyway OP.
    Slummy mummy!
