Best car auction?
Hi
I am considering trying a car auction for my next car soon. Im based in Devon but happy to travel.
I suppose ideally I would like an ex company BMW 3 series. Not fussed if mileage is s little high.
Does anyone know the best place? Or coukd nsme companies that use bmws and then auction them?
Thanks!

I've just started entering the competitions (July 07). When I win I'll update this signature. Look on the bright side, I shouldn't have to update it very often.

Best auction is one having the car you want on the day your there and at the price you want to pay.
Travelling hundreds if miles to an auction is a waste if they only have one car you are interested in and the price goes too high or its not quite what you want after inspecting it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Try Manheim auctions. They have sites all over the country and you can register online first to look at what they have available.
They sell ex-lease vehicle, repossessions, part exes etc.
You can also bid online if you cant attend!0 -
if not manheim, try the BCA. They've got as many sites as manheim (if not more) across the UK and have loads of ex fleet BMWs.0

Husseys at Exeter, they start selling about 5pm on sales days but allow viewing all day and the lads and lasses are really helpful and will fetch keys if required.
They are others but Husseys are all above board, you can look up last selling prices on line for a guide and the stock list.
Go early , have a good look round, have some food and wander to the auction.
If nothing else it's quite a good day out.Be happy...;)0 -
The Manheim in Bristol is okay. Full catalogues online so you can see what is coming through. You just need to keep an eye on the ex lease cars coming up.
Last time I was there looking at the 3 series, about 10 x 320D went through about half SE and half ES. A few other engines too (318).
You need about 300 in cash on you which you must hand over to register as a bidder on the day, refundable of course if you don't buy anything.0 -

The online catalogue should help you decide if its worth the trip.0 -
Hi there
Any car trader who is using BCA please help and oblige.
I just started trading with BCA. Bought few cars some cars were good and some were bad. I just want to know
1. which auction centers around london are having good cars
2. If you won a bid for a car which is sold as seen(not BCA assured) and after inspecting it if its not good enough or having some problems then can you refuse to pay or buy? If yes then is there any charges for that?0
