Hi,
I have bought my kids some cheap tablets as a little extra for christmas. They are Sumvision Cyclone 7inch and run android 4.0. I have been trying to download Fifa 12 (Fifa 13 is not out yet) onto them from google play but it keeps saying that this device is not compatible.
I have never used anything android before so am not sure if I need to update the software or if I am doing something wrong.
Any help at all is really appreciated as I have 2 miffed kids as they wanted to play on it.
Thanks for any help or advice

There is nothing wrong with your software, just some apps are compatible for your device and some are not.
For example, i can get the tesco and natwest app on my galaxy mini phone, but i can't get either on my galaxy tablet.
Hope that helps, very disappointing, i know..0 -
This is one of the most frustrating aspects of Android. All the Apple knockers out there take note!!Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Cheers for letting me know. At least I know it is not just me. I might put them on ebay and get them better ones. I even tried to put an .apk version on there. It took 2 hours to unpack and stopped once you got a few menus in.I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Ramada/Days Inn BRG thread.0

It's one of the problems with Android devices.. there's no standard hardware type, so some lower spec devices simply aren't capable of playing high end games.
The Play store filters apps accordingly so you don't pay to download apps, which as you found, won't work.
There are some apps which aren't available from the market which do actually work when manually installing using the APK file like you did (called "sideloading").
You need to be careful where you get APKs from though as they can be modified to allow viruses / malware on to your device which would otherwise be blocked on the Play store.
Sorry there's no happier answer to your question!0
