Does anyone know the names of the directors (RATS) who ran this company?

Why, there is absolutely nothing you can legally do about it. The company is 'Limited' which means the directors can walk away from their obligations any time the fancy takes them and there isnt a single thing you can do about it.
Debt Free! Long road, but we did it

In Nov 2013 my dad got a letter in the post from GENERAL RECOVERIES, stating that they were taking over One Debt Solution accounts. An important note is – on the letter it states “General recoveries is pleased to announce the acquisition of the clients of Marketing and Lead Generation Limited trading as One Debt Solution. This includes the One Debt Solution Brand and debt management cases including the assignment of your case.

Now to me that means, that General Recoveries now own One debt solution and therefore makes you wonder why One Debt solution is still in liquidation? If they were bought out then they would have acquired all the debts also would they not?

They will have to invoice for what they are owed and apply to the administrators as creditors.
To be honest, it looks like they have been had.
The chances of getting anything back are slim.
Companies like these prey on vulnerable people by lying they can reduce what you owe.
    They can not.

They won't have to raise an invoice, normally an administrator would contact the creditors but it would be advisable to contact them anyway

Lost my money with One Debt solution too - Just found this thread - I was told my account had "transferred" to General Recoveries. No money has been paid to my Creditors despite me paying in over £10K since 2006. I refused to pay anything more to General Recoveries until I could see action on my account - no surprise nothing happened and then heard, after 9 months of arguing, that they have been taken over by Kensington Finance - a very slick and pushy company who informed me that they had no money passed over. Have now been in touch with my Creditors to make payments directly with them . I spoke to the Liquidators of One Debt who said there's no money coming back. So ANGRY with this. Found the director's name and address on Companies House details and have written to him - I know it's unlikley to do anything but thought if a letter falls on his door mat at least he might feel uncomfortable that his dirty work has followed him home.
A very painful lesson learnt here.

It really saddens me to read all these stories of people been fleeced by, in particular, one debt solution's, and fee charging debt management companies in general.
I know not all of them are outright crooks, but none of them have the clients interests at heart, they are ALL in it to make money.....from YOU, please people, if you are in A DMP with one of these firms, cancel it now, it is costing you money, it is so easy to do this yourself, or contact a free debt charity for advise on how to do it for free.

If you are considering starting one, please don't.
They don't do anything you cant do yourself.

As above get some free advice from one of the debt charities, don't line these companies pockets with your hard earned cash, as has been demonstrated here, they can go bust overnight, taking all your money with them, leaving you in a worse position than you were before.
