I am wanting to spend my Christmas money on a die cutter for my amateur meddling with card making and starting to scrap book.
Which would you recommend?

I couldn't decide which to get either, ummed and ahrred for most of the year. My wonderful OH solved the problem - he got me a Big Shot as a surprise! Looking forward to playing with it today.

I have the Big Shot and I find it easy to use. I have the big shot and love it!
Only draw back with it is that you can only cut/emboss up to A5 (half A4) size, admittedly I've only wanted to use a larger than A5 size a couple of times and I've had my big shot a couple of years now, but before you buy it's worth thinking of the size of card etc that you want to make.

Another vote for the Sizzix Big Shot, it's simple to use and fits most makes of dies apart from the giant size ones.
