Can Anyone Recommend a Good Variety of Sugar Snap Pea for Container Growing?

Title says it all really! I would love to grow some sugar snap peas around a clothes pole which I no longer use and would cover with netting for them to grow up. Any advice would be appreciated?

The one I'm doing is Oregon sugar pod from B&Q - a huge packet which has lasted me for several years. Very happy with the crops

I love sugar snap peas - what sort of container do you need and do you need support? Also how many seeds would you put in a large pot?

Sugar Ann is the one I grow. It only grows to about 60cm high and can be supported on some twiggy sticks.

In previous years I have grown them in grow bags, 18 inch pots and teh ground and I think the best was grow bags believe it or not. I think the reason mybe that I was most careful about watering well and picking them every day. I probably had about 8 -9 in a grow bag.
