Just wondering if anyone knows how paypal works?
Is the payment made "by" paypal and then your bank account debited later by paypal? As I thought that if you made a payment via paypal it comes right away from your bank account. But it seems like its a two step process? Paypal pays for the item then later takes the money from your own bank account at a later date?
ANyone know how it works? Quite confusing?

Paypal take the money from your bank account and give it to the seller, just like using your card in a supermarket.
It may show up on your statement a few days after the original transaction. However it would not show as paid in the sellers eBay account, unless it was authorized by your bank.0
