  • Don't know if they're any good but I recently saw (in Asda I think) some superlightweight cases - they look a bit cheap and nasty but to be fair they were incredibly light. I'll see if I can find a link hang on..

    Found it here's the link

Thanks so much, too big for mr Ryanair though. Hate this airline already!

That's just not fair, you've every right to be upset.:(

Also just had a phone call to cancel my appointment with Orthopaedic
Surgeon on 14th Jan - next available appointment November - also not happy as this one had already been postponed twice

    Blimey - that's shocking too.

Just looked and they are 1cm too long

    I love Ryanair

Seriously, DP and I make around 7 or 8 return flights between us every year (and have done for the past 6 years or so), never had any problems except through adverse weather.
Just get to the airport in plenty of time, make sure you conform to their terms ie strictly 1 piece of cabin baggage, try to avoid buying any food/drink on board unless you are seriously minted, ignore all the scratchcard/calendar nonsense. If you're flying with young children I recommend priority boarding.
Oh and ignore the fanfare that they always play over the tannoy if they touch down on time  for some reason that really irritates me :rotfl:

They are cheap - DP is coming to the UK next week from Poland, return flight including taxes £14.65  It will cost me more than that to pick him up from Bristol airport by the time I pay diesel, bridge toll and parking.

    Have a super trip :)

    Sorry to hear this.

The last time I saw my neurologist, the nurse told me he will be so glad to see me as the 3 people due before me hadn't turned up for their appointments!
He had been sat there waiting for 2.5 hours and saw me early.

It seems crazy to me that people desperate for an appointment can't get one, and some of those that are getting appointments just don't turn up.

At my GPs surgery they have a little sign up on the reception desk showing how many appointments have been missed in the last week. I'm always amazed at how many it is.
