I think the main issue with old bread mix (assuming it has kept okay and not got wet or flour weevil) is degraded yeast, potentially resulting in a heavy loaf when baked. Perhaps topping up with a little fresh yeast can avoid this problem?

Have just booked our holiday to Legoland Denmark, flights as expensive as the accommodation  however I'm over the moon as Denmark schools go back mid August, and prices drop like a stone.
If anyone has any advice re superlight weight Ryanair-cabin-size luggage, Stansted parking or anything to do with Legoland DK please do share!
Also does the Boots sale go 90% eventually? I seem to remember last year it was like that?
Don't know if they're any good but I recently saw (in Asda I think) some superlightweight cases - they look a bit cheap and nasty but to be fair they were incredibly light. I'll see if I can find a link hang on..
Found it here's the link

That's just not fair, you've every right to be upset.:(
Also just had a phone call to cancel my appointment with Orthopaedic

Good morning everyone
Thanks for the link to the cushelle RootedNomad, will have to get my printer sorted this evening, and hope there'll be some vouchers left then!
Time for work, have a very good day everyone, and maybe even the 75% off at mr Shoes
You may already know now, but you don't need a printer for this one. You input your details and they post you a coupon.
Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x
EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!0 -
