From the current APG T&C's on A's website:

    12. Items that customers have returned will be excluded from the ASDA Price Guarantee and ASDA reserve the right to invalidate the receipt for the purposes of the ASDA Price Guarantee.

    13. If an item on a receipt is returned, the return of that item invalidates the corresponding receipt or voucher for the purposes of the ASDA Price Guarantee.

These T&C's relate to the getting of an apg, but the problem highlighted is returning an item that was paid with an apg in part of full, SD was told she could not get the apg amount refunded in any manner but not sure if she ever got an answer from sada HQ:(

I agree that the T&C's relate to getting a refund on a receipt where an APG has been generated and not to returning an item paid for solely with an APG.

I have searched the T&C's to see where I stood on a refund for a product purchased with an APG but to no avail. I find its done to store discretion. Even to whether they refund cash or put it on a gift card.

Just before Christmas I bought an item for £14 with an APG. Nothing else was on there. I had a need to return it, but the store i returned it to said no because I'd paid for it with an APG. I asked what the policy is on returning goods if no receipt is available to which the response was 'to give the current value on a giftcard'. To which my response was ' pretend i haven't got the receipt then....or are you going to make me do that at another branch?.....I got my £14 on a giftcard.

Surely an APG is the same as a giftcard anyway. Not sure why there is no mention of the situation in the APG's T&C's. Couldn't see anywhere on their Facebook to ask the question and get clarification either.

and if its a policy / store discretion to give a giftcard WITHOUT any form of receipt, then it makes no sense to refuse a giftcard refund just because an APG has been used. At least it proves it was a purchase and not nicked

when we win the lotto my one request is to have underfloor heating , a friend of mine has it its amazing , iv alway got shoe or slippers and socks on as i cant bare feet on the floor all naked  getting blue and cold:eek::o:rotfl:
Honestly would not have it ever again, it's awkward to control in as much if I come in and am cold it will be a couple of hours before the temp increase is noticable, and little things like no presents that could melt under the christmas tree or you can't put the tin of chocolate sweets on the floor, my old dog loved it though she was never warm enough:D

Completely agree and it's interesting that you were also refused a refund because you paid with an apg, think if I needed to I would be returning without any receipt and taking the value on a gift card:)

  • as its fairly busy here

thought i'd ask here, hope thats ok.

i was considering selling this on ebay
call of duty mw3 xbox live 12month + 2 bonus months

(using this weekends free listing) as bought for son whos decided he doesn't need it.

not sold this kind of thing before so wondered how safe it was, and if i did whether you email them code or post them whole thing(which is safest?)
    TIA

Personally when I've browsed as a buyer I've given preference to those who e-mail the code rather than having to wait but I think ebay have said you can't do that anymore.

Try first without receipt and then if that fails then try with a receipt:D
