May have mentioned in passing that DD is getting married this year so I've got to start thinking about a speech amongst other things.
DD has posted a suggestion as to style on FB but I'm not sure, even with my musical bent, if I could compete with this. Probably old hat by now but it's the first time I'd seen it:

I'm up the health centre and they don't have an online booking system, they don't actually like giving appointments :rotfl:
The emergency appointments are 48hrs
I was only kidding about going up for sleepies anyway
48 hrs constitutes an emergency appointment
I'm with Albert Rd - they are suprisingly human at reception, but the online system is easier
I find that a bath then reading a book sends me off to sleep better than booze. Never tried pills.0 -

I popped to sainsbobs last night not expecting there to be much left, but I got a few bargains.
Got some mincemeat for mum to cook her mince pies with 10p a jar, cake decorations between 13p and 20p a pack.
Ice fountains 3 pack 45p (ready for 18th birthday cake later this year)
Also got a decent cooking book for £2 and a lovely childrens book (padded and foiled) for £1.
