I'm in such a dark place today I've had to skip the poem and the post from squigs too, just know the slightest thing is going to set me off. Only been awake 3hrs but think I'd better go back to bed and fingers crossed I'll wake up feeling less depressed :( x

I hope you feel better soon.

This is a bad old time of the year - if you can force yourself, and I know it is hard, get up early tomorrow morning and have a shower early - get outside in the morning whilst nice and bright....it is very uplifting. Try to drink water as well - these wee things do help a bit. Sorry if this is a lecture but I have taken this advice on more than one occasion and assure you that it helps:A

Well folks your sada receipts may not be producing much by way of cash but please inspect them carefully for multibuy glitch. I have a receipt with two cokes on it- will be checking around 3.45 when I get back from school. I am always hopeful.:)

If it's 2 packs of 8 cans it might give you a nice surprise anyway - 2 for £7 at A vs 1.87 each at T (although I'm sure you knew that anyway :D)

Saw this running today - Toga Tiger - so with Tigerwhite in mind, thought I would have a quick bet on it.

    It won at 9/1

Didn't look at form/jockey/trainer, just backed it because of Tigerwhite !!!

Looks like you help in more ways than you realise !!!

    Thank-You.jpg

Thankyou all so much, for your kind and loving words and all the hugs.xxx You really are all:A

My tears have just about stopped now, but my heart is still heavy.:(

Even with the other 4 dogs bounding around, the house somehow seems empty with out Loopy.

She had suffered with IBS for a number of years, but it was quite well controlled with steroids.

For the past couple of weeks she had started getting a bit lethargic but nothing specific. She was still eating and drinking well and bossing the other dogs around.

On sunday she didn't eat very much and her tail was down and she looked really depressed.

By Monday morning she had deteriorated quite markedly and could hardly walk.

The vet examined her and found a large mass in her stomach area which hadn't been there 6 weeks ago when she had her annual check up, so it was obviously a very aggressive tumour.

The vet also thought that Loopy was bleeding internally as she was quite anaemic.

Deep down, I knew before we went to the vets that I wouldn't be taking her home, so I didn't have to think for too long about the decision to have her put to sleep.
She looked so relaxed and peaceful when it was all over.

Anyhow, sorry for the long post and once again, thanks to you all for your kindness.:):)

Skipped yesterdays posts so only just realised you've lost Loopy.
I'm so sorry to hear this, For us doggie lovers it's like losing family and I'm dreading the day I lose Purdy. She's at least 10 years old now and they say the average age for dalmations is around 11-12 :(

    Big ((((Hugs)))) xxx
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Not sure if it's been mentioned - but have you considered an ice cream cake? Layer diff flavour ice creams in a container, decorate as you like, add candles and bob's your uncle. :)

I am liking the idea of the ice cream cake thanks have a huge tub of vanilla in freezer could blend own flavours with some added choc chunks and fruits based on what ds2 likes and then layer them such a great idea :T:T

someone else mentioned icecream earlier so thanks to them to :T
