Just got in, so not sure if its been mentioned - Free facial worth £50 at some stores

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

I'm waiting for an ultrasound, it's been 14 weeks so far
Was told when I rang them that it is a 22 week wait :(

Although I dunno whether they will be doing an ultrasound on my entire groin area, left hip going round to my spine and my left leg  :D

May be worth complaining, have a look for your local provider on the link below, this shows how many patients they had waiting by test in Oct - latest data. If they have none then I's be writing (or emailing) as they are obviously hiding numbers.

Hmmm, now that's an idea. It could be that, or it could be that he set me up a really intense new programme to get rid of my mini belly and it seems to be working? He did say I would ache like it was no one's business for a while. I seem to struggle to get up after I have sat down. Ouch!

Also, not sure if anyone is dieting or trying to be healthy this year, but say for example, I get extreme hunger pangs at 11pm, what should I eat? Obviously, with this being the brand new look me regime, 6 packs of Walkers crisps is out of the window :o. I've tried drinking loads of water but that just makes me hungrier. Any ideas? I've tried Matzo's crackers (the super 0.1% fat ones) and I just end up finishing the whole box in one go.
Hello, Well done on the new fitness regime. I do find that late night, just before bed is the worst time to be hungry, but if I go to bed hungry I don't wake up really hungry the next morning. Wierd isn't it? If I don't want to go to bed hungry then raw carrots and black or fruit tea always works for me when I'm dieting. I also keep a small supply of low-cal hot choc and cup-a-soup that I can have without ruining the diet. Wishing you all the best!:)

Apologies for putting the two above quotes together. Just looked and it seems very insensitive. X

Squigs I really am so sorry to hear your sad news, have a big hug :)

Couponqueen123 That's fab news, you must be thrilled

Princessmelody2009 - Good luck with the toilet training, takes me back - definitely worth staying at home for a few days, it soon clicks :)

COT - Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your scan. I had to chase up DH's MRI scan as we didn't hear anything for 6 weeks. Apparently the card his consultant filled in was sitting in a pile on someone's desk waiting to be signed.

Thanks to OPs for posts re sainsbobs sale :T. Managed to check thread lunch-time and saw Nikki's photo (good on you btw) and popped into our little one after work. Got some nice bits but can't say what, as PixiePieface is probably reading this and she's got some stuff as prezzies :rotfl:.

The Baco roasting bags I reported at the back end of last week have now gone down to 10p (I got a whole clip strip full) as too have the Tin Foil roasting tins. I grabbed quite a few as will be ideal for using for BBQs this summer - fingers crossed we will have some sun :)
