  • Nope, take it on the chin and chalk it up to experience. Couponing is a game, its as simple as that. Coupons are not designed for us to walk in with handfuls to get our shopping down to pence.......its a gift when we manage to do it.

You said you were new at it. Learn to pick your SA's a little more wisely!! ;)

Thank you for your comments, the SA wasn't at fault, the till wouldn't accept more than 1 moc per item. She was actually very understanding.:)

Not really (not for us on here anyway), except that it was a really inefficient shop and they overpaid on everything, without getting any APG back and, even if they had got the APG, are still comparing to a load of prices that are way more than I ever would. It worked for us as we've got the £3.09 APG.

But they bought the wrong milk (also the right milk doesn't now compare favourably with T's except in 3s - it's now vs S in any number (up to 10 obviously albeit unrealistically) - which leads me to mention anyone else seeing this: T is now showing N/A again on the 1% milk in Sada on MSM. T was showing N/A whether I was in or out of the system yesterday: it's now showing 3 for £3 but only when I'm logged in, still N/A logged out. Could there be any glitch here? I'm hopefully going to buy 3x this milk on my S comp. later today, since we need exactly that many anyway, absent any Cravendale glitch and will, I hope, report back if anything strange vs T on that comp. comes back).

The CBY sausage rolls were - albeit very briefly - cheaper recently A vs M than the SP rolls now are vs T.

I've never have bought the Nestle desserts until they're £1 at the competitor. The Quaker Oats packs were, I think, £1 in A very recently so that's a very poor purchase in my view. I nearly pass out on the price of the Flora Activ. Especially for only a 500g pack. Skipping a couple of items - it doesn't mean I think those are good value either - I bought the Domestos in A - the big 2 litre bottle not the 750ml - when it was about £1.80 in T. MSM.co.uk now shows T as always being higher priced than this over the last year, but I know different and this seems a mistake on MSM.

We've still got lots left of the 2litre bottle - normally I'd go for the own brands (inc. the Daisy Bleach at T when it was cheaper than it is now) and they're cheaper than Domestos but sometimes it's to appease the rest of the family and keep them on board.

The Frijj is losing a lot now it's 50p each at A (and I feel obliged to point out it used to be 500ml quite recently). I've seen it sometimes at competitors for 50p when I've purchased it in A. I'm currently disliking this as much as the infernal nuisance Pot Noodles, dreadful 50p soup and nasty Aero Mousses on APG. Frankly, I'd burn down those areas in the stores in A if it were legalised today. It isn't, so I won't.

The SFC Chicken Dippers are overpriced in my view, for what they are (200g). I've nearly fainted over the Kelloggs Choc n Rolls and even the price at T being compared. I think they missed a m'buy on the Chicken & gravy deep pies and thus overpaid on that. The bananas - less said - see my earlier post. The Feasters sandwich - just 130g - at 50p more than the Rustlers at M (which is a bigger sandwich as well, I forget the exact weight but prob. 190g) - currently £1.

The Pringles are way too expensive for me, even at 10% less than the lower competitor's £1.24 price. The Coca Cola on here is a frankly daft purchase.

Even the Mini Eggs at £1 - but for only 100g.

Frankly they overpaid on just about everything, if not everything, and when the rival's prices were at the wrong time and you'd have even more APG if they'd done it (or it seems even anything) right, but well done for the £3.09.:j

I didn't have time to do this in more than one shop yesterday but I think it's still worth checking for incorrect SELs. This multibuy has come right after the 4 for £3 one and some stores probably will still have the old label. Even if the new 2 for £3 label is there check whether or not it shows for silver protect and the women's Diamond touch, as neither of these are included in the new offer. Remember, if they make a mistake we can go to CS for a refund plus £2 on a gift card ;)

savvy you too...don't say that:) we are used to your uber-long epic posts by now:rotfl::rotfl: and I no longer get phased by them, quite like them and u:)

    nice to have u back x x

Thanks for that. Hope you see this on catch-up. By "briefly" I meant hopefully my time on the site posting it onto here, rather than the length of the post. In the end, I was on here over 30 mins into last night/early hours of this morning. I'm happy to be on here and to have been back - it was simply that it was getting late on in the night and that's why my post began as it did.

Anyway, nice to read your reply and many thanks.
