They have never been so bad but once they bring back the £5 off £40 we will be set up. Did a search on net and they usually bring it back for easter - that keeps us waiting :(

    cant believe it

had maybe 15 receipts last 7 days and not 1 has had a apg

the few days over xmas all 7 gave me a apg and one for £7

    Good morning all

Can you tell I know how to post photos now!?:rotfl:

    Just caught up :D

Went to T's last night, got 3 rump steaks, 2 packs of 2 lamb chop things and a pack of mince. Whoopsied to £1.60 each, extra £2 off for multi buy and then paid in pps :D Thank you op x Other half asked why was I getting more meat (I'm veggie, him and DD aren't), I said "coz they are free!":T

Also got stain remover sachets (60g) from the extra T's. 69p each so got a few with the ssm £1 mocs. No 18 nouvelle though :(

Didn't go to sada this morning. Went to Boots with the No7 coupons instead. They've changed it so you can't use the skin care and cosmetic together and on the 3 for 2 :(still good savings though. They've sold out of the sanctuary box too :(

Also used my poundland coupon £1 off wys £10. Got several boxes of go cat dry food as they are 3 for 2 in there :)

Hugs to all that need them xxx

Good whoopsies:) Did the SA try to scan the vouchers or is it that they just don't want people using two together? TIA:)

That's exactly like me... worry, worry, worry, worry, worry. It can be very hard, especially when other people don't always appreciate what's worrying us. I've had anxiety, depression, the whole lot. And waiting for someone terminally ill over a long holiday... Best advice I was given, by a colleague before the holiday started, was to 'take it easy' on myself.

I like to think it's the good people who are affected. It's because we are good people and because we care about things, and thus worry whether it's going right or wrong. Chin up - you'll get through.:)

    Agreed :)

A friend who I went on many holidays with, walked our dogs together & was generally part of the furniture has died from cancer :(
But credit to her when I last saw her a month ago, in a wheelchair, very frail & a shadow of her previous self - she went off to Egypt :)

When we used to bimble back down the street with the dogs,
dogs hoovering up kebabs & burgers :p we always stopped & read the Deaths Cards on the newsagents window.
She always used to say 'we're ok we're not on here' :rotfl: :)
I wondered as I read her card today if she was chuckling by my side? ♥

Oh so sorry to hear this snap-ant, I'm sure she was :)

grrrrr asda wombles are really poor at the minute

one £70 had them £10 cheaper
and a £140 one had them upto £18 cheaper

    but nothing major springs out

I've had 2 or 3 (lost count) with APGs today, one of which was nearly £5, so there are still good ones out there if you happen to hit lucky. However my luck is after I've taken out the just as many receipts that turned out to have three items on them - or after I've walked the car park and found the 'receipt' in the corner was a piece of rolled-up tissue or a juice carton that I've passed three times now on my way there and back, which looks like it's green and white striped but isn't!!! Grrr indeed...

I try and seperate the things I can do something about and have any influence over apart from all the other things, everything else that I can't have any control over.

So most things at the moment are in the lap of the gods, I can't influence or control anything or anyone. It's all down to fate

All I can do is keep going forward, keep things as normal as possible at home so its a base for everyone to come back to and keep control of the budget incase anything else goes belly up.

And think lots of positive thoughts plus a bit of old fashioned prayer can't do any harm :D

It's quite shocked me how low you can feel and how quickly you can tip over the edge. But at least I know where abouts I am on the cliff edge and I have strategies for dealing with things so they don't get any worse
