So how many shoes does the average bloke have?
I've got one pair of leather soled brogues for Sunday best and births/deaths/marriages.
One pair of smart casual leather boots.
Two pairs of "you're not going out in those are you:eek:?" well used, comfy shoes that have been reglued many times for everyday use.
One pair of rigger boots and a couple of pairs of trekking sandals for the garden.
What more does anyone need?
I did however buy another pair today in the sales for smart casual use but was very surprised to find that instead of my usual 8.5/9 I was able to fit in a size 7. Same happened at Christmas when I bought a new pair of slippers to use up an APG. I know I've lost a lot of weight recently but didn't expect my feet to shrink:eek: Perhaps I'm washing them too much:rotfl::rotfl:Awaiting a new sig0 -

Yes I tried two (rude not to) - no sign of them in either unfortunately.
Incidentally, our Ts Superstore had Mr Kipling Mince Pies reduced to 50p a box today - there is a voucher in Shopitize for 50p off - I have scanned the box and the receipt and both are recognised ... but it does not pick up the Mince Pies even though they are on the receipt (cunningly diguised as Mince Pies) - does this mean that Shopitize is also looking for the full price on the receipt? If so, I am a misinformer from earlier about the Crunchy Nut Cornflakes if/when As APG picks up the Ms reduction, as it may not work?

Good evening everybody, I hope you are well. Just managed to catch up. I felt very motivated tonight to go shopping. It paid off.
first I went to a local Mr A, toblerones are now 75p. I also got box set of smellies for £5.
went to Mr W and I only paid 39p for a load of fruit, yoghurt's and
pancakes and some chicken. Multi buy on fruit kicked in.
Went to Mr T and got loads of fruit potatoes, peppers and yoghurt's all reduced paid £3 and I got loads to take to my friend tomorrow.
Whilst we were waiting for the reductions( it was a bit hectic) someone walked past and called us all vultures. I did have a little laugh to myself.
I have had a great night and only spent £11 I don't mind being called a vulture when I spend that much.Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.0 -

Why does this keep happening to me? I need to go out tomorrow, I am a little bit apprehensive about it. I might wrap DSs shoes in plastic bags after I've put them on his feet just in case.
