Savvybuyer wrote: »Right, just after pay day so I've moved some of it out of my current account (which has a bonus that currently pays quite near to the top ISAs - I already have max. in ISAs). Current account is now at the exact maximum amount on which they pay interest, beyond which they pay nothing.
Moved the money into my savings account (still on an earlier issue of that, having turned down the newer issue they wanted to move me to, as it pays less interest. At least I assume they wanted me to move to it due to the heavy promotion of the new account).
I think it's similar with T's and S's. They don't promote using BM or PP as a way of boosting your CC/Nectar points do they?
Incidentally, whilst on this, when I was using T vouchers out of their Price News leaflet and £5 off £40s etc., there was one voucher I didn't use. The voucher was the "Tesco helping hand" coupon. Which wanted me to spend £80 in order to use it!!! (And when PP was now capped at £10.):rotfl:
I think it's best to ignore anything they "help" you on, as it probably doesn't help you, and do everything they don't want you to do (such as buying expensive items from them that are on at a competitor at cheaper prices than they probably would ever go, and then difference back).
Do the total opposite of what they want/expect, and you'll probably be quids in. :T:beer::j:rotfl: Also see my (very long) post about the popular fuel deals that I'm not much fond for.

Thank you to everyone who collects their children ♥
In the late 70s (before mobile phones & only call boxes)
I would ring my Father & he would always say start walking & I'll meet you. (Match Of The Day - Saturday nights)
Sometimes I'd be nearly home (3 miles along an unlit country road) before he arrived.
Anyway the moral of my story is - one time I rang him & started walking through Haslemere town centre.
A car pulled up & I thought gosh he was quick  only to realise it wasn't him. So carried on. The car pulls up again. I cross sides & head for main road.
Next thing - the car has driven over the pavement & blocked me in. The man gets out & comes round to grab me :eek::eek::eek: (outside The Georgian Hotel if anyone knows Haslemere)
Luckily my Father pulled up at this very time & I ran across the road to him. We had to turn around but tried to chase the car up the road but it had got away.
♥ So again a big Thank You to whoever watches over me ♥Our Family Motto ~If all else fails - read the instructions...

Fusilli bought wrong day as other size now on rollback. However, perhaps this may have been a semi-professional who lost their receipt: the 2x Thick Bleach (diff. varieties) was a very good combination - exactly what I bought on an earlier shop some weeks ago vs W. And by them buying 2 different ones, it seems it puts the shop on the minimum 8 diff. items.0 -

I like your posts Savvy, they can be very detailed and sometimes for some people a lot of information at one time. But very accurate too
I hope you take any of my posts as being funny Ha Ha instead of funny peculiar.
I have the same motto with "helping offers from any company" very seldom to help you. Surprised the bank have any offers the interest rates are terrible and they always make such a mess of transferring ISAS.
Happy New Year Savvy Buyer0
