    Tenth Anniversary
Decided to go to T's, but they must of just reduced mega before I got there, people with deep trollies filled with reduced stuff and the fridges were empty, department manager was on the floor giving orders for the refill of new stock, cages all over the place, still managed to spend over £30:eek:, the shame, :o:rotfl:

load of carp at my asda, no whoopsies, no reduced section! Had to make do with a couple of Sallys and got rid of 2 of the £15ish APGs from glitch weekend.

Can I ask please are those samosas from the deli counter? Good to know if they are as a lot of the deli stuff like make your own pizzas and the curries don't show in the comparison.

Hi all - lurking lately as no shopping for 10 days (bliss) :)

Sticking my beak into the coupon 'abuse' debate, I do find it a bit surprising what some people on here think is OK regarding coupon use compared to their general 'decent' vibes

Using coupons meant for charity purposes is a bit low really - I'm not a very active member here but have seen that issue flagged many times so hard to miss if you're a couponer

Coupon use , misuse and fraud has been an issue for years and there are certainly far fewer coupons around compared to a few years ago. Its naive to believe that overusing coupons doesn't have an impact. Why do you think so many SAs and supervisors are so wary ? Its not sour grapes most of the time but fear of the forgeries. Anyone remember the Haagen Daaz and Betty Crocker scandal - these 'internet downloads' remind me of those but less sophisticated - these were actual glossy realistic coupons not dodgy printouts
Yes, I remember being naive and buying these from an ebay seller, and re-selling for a couple of quid more. I sold a few, but one day I got a private detective knocking at my door asking where I'd got the Hagen Daaz coupons, and telling me they were fraudulent, and the company had lost £400000 or something over it. He said he bought some from me, that's how he got my details.

I remember they were really real and professional looking, so I had no idea they were fake. I've not sold any coupons since then.

Mad, how about a quick plug for your recording? Give it a shove out of 2012 and then another shove tomorrow into 2013.

I know how you feel, always get this around christmas, and with docs closed, its a pain, I suffer about 4 - 5 times a year, and my docs will not remove them anymore, have asked lots of times.:mad:

Poor you, I am lucky once I hit my 40s episodes are less frequent thankfully. Like you no one would ever take mine out, consultant said when I was about 7 they were so enlarged when I was not suffering he felt it would be too dangerous to remove them. Never heard anyone else ever being told that so not sure what his thinking was as some years especially in my 20s were really bad and GP still said not an option to have them removed.

Anyway the paracetamol has kept things at bay today so I am hoping it is just a sore throat for me and not the start of tonsillitis. Don't feel too bad at the moment. :)
