    Hi Auntycaz

Im still here and still overdue. Was having contraction 2 nights ago for 6 hours and then they died :mad: Looks like my xmas baby is turning into a new years baby.

Contractions are coming every 10min but not to severe yet. Only been having these for the past week. Getting fed up now :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    Comon baby come out

Was so fed up yesterday that went to Asda and did a £45 shop down to 51p. Some lovely man who was buying clearblue digi pregnancy test handed me over his £5 off voucher yesterday. Hope he got the good news he was hoping for.

    I wonder if cici-k is in hospital now? A 2012 or a 2013 baby maybe?:T

sorry for the delay mimi (been shopping). it's too late for the vouchers now as they expire today ......but dont worry because there will be something else coming our way soon :)

Thank you babes. The adorable Pattylabelle (not the singer, the hotter classier one ;)) pointed me in the right direction, but unfortunately none of them are suitable for vegetarians or non alcoholics. Needless to say my local Sada does not stock them! Doh.

Just done an APG with the Sally Miracle Cure. Hopefully it will work. Will post results later.

Whoopsie shoppers were having fun, 1kg of brussels for 10p, 1kg of parsnips for 10p, shed loads of various car fresheners at 10p each, all bakery items were being reduced to 5p to 30p. Unfortunately, I was not able to get my hands on any as a bunch of evil wenches were pouncing on everything that was getting reduced. They had deep fill trolleys filled with whoopsies! Good for them for getting in, but let everyone have a go.

Just wanted to say another huge thank you to all that post on this thread. Everyone's helping each other save some money and it's just absolutely smashing. Keep it up people.

Happy 2013 to all and sundry. Hope it's a wonderful year for everyone. Kisses x x x

    1. Never ever throw away a coupon until it is out of date

    2. If there's a glitch don't wait until tomorrow. Go now.

3.Never say I have enough we can always give to others less fortunate than ourselves.

    4. When you finally find those elusive Tesco mags don't just get the odd one. Pick up a few

    5. Always check your APG on the day you bought/found it so you can go back to "rinse and repeat" (locarrs TM?)

    6. Have the relevant head office on speed dial

    7. Check your stash regularly for OOD stuff, mice, coyotes, chocolate nickers etc

  • Afternoon folks, thanks to all those who went out early to make test purchases only sorry it's not working still. Onwards and upwards then :)

Just back from a Mr T whoospie shop. Didn't really feel up for going but as managed to leave work at 3.30pm today thought I'd pop in - oh my days it was manic. Bumped into DH in the meat aisle as DD2 had sent him in for last minute bits for her trip to NY. Last minute indeed, she leaves for Heathrow in 3 hours and hasn't even packed yet

Did very well though got £9 taken off my bill buying party food and DH found a finest ham joint in a really bashed box with a reduced sticker of £25 covering the original selling price which was £31.12! As he took it from the shelf to check the price the young guy who was reducing stuff further said, he'd mark that down for DH again if he wanted it. Hubby needed no prompt and held on to it for dear life while a £3.12 sticker was smacked on top. Result!

:hello:To GemandJan, just saw you as I was going to the till, hope you managed to get some nice bits.

Hello too if you are the lady in the grey cardigan who was waiting for reductions, you were kind enough to pass me some potato skins. Think you may be a friend of Martin's as you knew the whoopsied party food took money off your shopping ;)

Well I'm off to jump in the shower, descending on MIL and BIL tonight. Only live round the corner so I'll bung the party food in the oven and cover in foil so it should still be nice and warm when we get there.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening, whatever you are doing and you all have a happy and healthy new year :A

My alter ego frequent :D got shoved aside by another alter ego aka the bank managers voice ringing in my ears

Looking forwards to 2013 being the 11+ year of the glitch.

I'll drink to that, frequent. Cheers, my dear, and a very happy new year to you and yours. x
    Hope is not a strategy.
