So I have Spent today in the dog house:(

Yesterday we had a delivery of slabs and gravel and something else I don't remember the name of, to finish our drive off. My hubby was knocking out large zzzzz when the delivery arrived and the driver asked me to move his car so he could get the wagon in to drop off. So I moved hubby car onto the grass to let him in

I should explain hubby's car is like a fourth child ( to him, not me) and when the delivery was done, I tried to drive his nice shiny polished car out if the grass and it wasn't going anywhere. it was stuck and ther was mud everywhere:o. I apparently made it worse by revving it like mad to get it out:o he has spent all day giving me big sighs and daggers.

He had a hissy fit earlier and said a few swear words and went indoors. I got a tow rope on our big car, got my son in his car and towed it out of the grass:T:T. He came out and had another hissy fit about how much mud was on it!! ungrateful? I think so.

Im not cleaning it!.....I'll probably end up laying the slabs as it is!

    Rant over:o
Oh Fairclaire so sorry but this did make me laugh know I shouldn't as I can imagine you've had an unpleasant day :o Doesn't he realise you just didn't want to wake him?

Arr bless, its his pride and joy. A lady would not understand the bond a man has with his car.

  • I've had a productive evening.
I got DSes tank set up with filter and water from our established tank along with the new filter. I decided it would need a bit more help to get the filter mature enough for the babies so put one of his pooping machines (otherwise known as a mollie) in there too. I think she's ready to pop out more babies so will be a welcome break for her :)
I've cleared out space for my mum's old tank to go as a replacement for DSes goldfish tank, the fish is about 4 inches long in an 18" tank so needs more space as it will only get bigger. The tank will be in place by the end of the week.
The old tank will be used for DSes female fighter and put beside the males tank so he can still flirt with her!

I have one last job to do in the morning and that's to ring my brother to see when he can put our trampoline into the attic. I've got it all boxed up ready for him to try to move it. If I can get it up stairs that'll be half the battle then he can lift it through the hatch.

I'm very tired now so beddie byes for me

    Good night x
