So are we on or off for tomorrow? I wonder. Everything crossed here, especially as I have just sat for an age writing new lists.

We can only be certain when shop tested cos the rules for figuring it all out no longer apply:D

Our 3 stores all have coin operated trolley so that explains why I can never find any recs

Our trolleys are free but I hardly ever find any wombles.
How many trolleymen do you have?
We have about 8 on at a time and they are so keen.

Perhaps they work for free- like some waitresses in The States just work for the tips:D

Blimey, I always thought Scottish notes were legal tender
    :)

The car park at Glasgow airport had four different slots for each type of banknote.

The Scottish and presumably Northern Irish notes are legal currency, rather than legal tender, IIRC.

I've taken Scottish notes south of the border with no real hassle. Only time I've had them rejected is in a charity shop where some elderly volunteer said they weren't legal ( I didn't have the heart to tell her (a) she was wrong and (b) [STRIKE]a core part of her role was to accept money for a charity and it would be good to get it right[/STRIKE]. Sorry a bit harsh. :D

I gather the main problems arise when you go out into the sticks and far from the main travel routes. So, don't!

    Nooooooooo;););)

Oh no:eek: We were probably in there at at the same time as we did two this afternoon, me and Nannylala would have come to the rescue;)

Had to avoid A's today because the nearest one to us has a flyover shut for a few days and the traffic is chaos:(

nooooo you were prob in the one next to B&Q I was in the one at the other end - using up my car coupons - rinsing & repeating Fridays shop - which of course caused all the cauffuffle £10 Porkie - I need your receipt palavar.
CS call HO & got it sorted in the end - hope I dont have as much trouble spending the new ones.was so faffed & angry I didn'ty go back for the whoopsies which promised to be good.

I went to A's earleir in the day - not tooo bad if yu know how to bypass the Greenford Fly - which is where the work is..
Vacumn Building should be good for whoosies though
I say "THANKS" to posts that make me smile - Oh and really good glitches.:j

  • if albali compares as before

    it'll be around £1.15 a bottle
    3x albani (pay 3x £10 A) £17.94A £12.00 T
    = £5.94 + 10% = £6.53
    £10 - £6.53 = £3.47
    so approx £1.15 a bottle

just a thought to as to why multibuys are disappearing & reappearing on MSM for asda
tonight is price change over time for asda so they've more than likely started updates, hence some reappearing

Hiya Tiny. - did u get any bargains today? Xx

Will do coke tomorrow - I hope still on but need coke anyway! To get it to compare to Ts do I just put normal fillers in? And if I get zero, full fat and diet coke does that count as 3 of my 8?

Hi DODO, oops went out in such a rush forgot to let you know about the glitches today, sorry. :o

You know me, managed to get a few RTC bargains this morning in As. And then some more this afternoon with the glitches. Not gone to Ts today but I will tomorrow for party food if it is still on multibuy. :D
