Are you feeling 100% yet?
I'm about 80% thanks. The pain is getting better and the kids excitement has made it all feel better:) Oh has been slaving in the kitchen all day.....I am blessed with a man who can really cook:j Im feeling better than I have in ages. Thanks:A0 -

Merry Christmas:xmassmile! Thanks for the new thread Dave.
Just having a glass of vino before sorting Santa, my 3 have just gone to bed, could be a long night.
Happy Christmas one and all.
You are not alone and I might join you for a glass of wine:o DD now is asleep, but DS still showing some resistance:rotfl::rotfl:Shortfatscotsbloke wrote: »You know Patty, once upon a time you would have been right, I would have joined you like a shot. However, a few things have happened to my family recently that have made me realise the importance of having them around.
It is incredibly likely that this is the last Christmas my FIL will see. His condition has only just been diagnosed in the last few days and I am dreading having to think of what to tell my 6yo dd and 4yo ds.
If any of you out there are having any kind of family problems at the mo, please try your very best to sort them out. Forgive them as much as you can as family is the most important thing you have.
Sorry to bring the thread down, I'm afraid I have just learned that my FIL has terminal cancer which will not be treated and I need to vent somewhere.
He is such a lovely, lovely guy and I cannot imagine my life, or my wife and children's lives without him in it.
I am so pleased that I have been blessed with such an amazing FIL and I am dreading life without him.
Anyway, keep strong and have a great Christmas.
I feel sorry for your news:( .....Don't have much to say, but your post ( after being forgotten again by my parents - they live in another country) made me appreciate the time with my own family and not judge my mum and my dad too harsh...you and your famly will be in my thoughts....reality is a point of view...0 -

Vent away SFSB I'll be up for a few hours yet, waiting on a nurse coming to take bloods then i can go home for DS waking in the morning. This saves me waiting in A&E all night and has already been OKed with them as they're busy and they can just ring me when they come through or I'll ring them at 9am. I'm just glad I got everything done before I had to leave so can just fall into bed.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked
