  • Czerniacha at 6.40pm: just popping in quickly waiting at the eurotunnel :D this time tomorrow we'll be home hopefully

Wishing you a safe journey - reminds me of many years ago when me and DP drove from S Wales to his family in SE Poland on Xmas eve. 27 hours later we arrived , I believe my first ever words to his family were along the lines of ''where's the bed'', into which I promptly collapsed :rotfl:

We fly these days (thank you Ryanair) :D

    Merry Christmas everyone:j
  • To anybody spending Christmas on your own - we are here all day tomorrow......different people will be popping in and out. You are not actually alone - you have us and no hassle with unwanted guests:rotfl::rotfl:

So pop in and have a chat with other like minded souls:)

  • Thank you all, it has been a fabulous 2012, let's hope 2013 is just as amazing..

I, just like most of us have spent most of my time in Asads this year, to the extent that I have nearly forgotten what Tosco looks like!!

Top grabs of 2012 (I will leave this for you to rearrange as have had a few Albalis and cannot think straight at the mo).
    1. 16p hair care products using the sp conditioner as a trigger.
    2. 32p cereals using the ambrosia pot or the porridge as a trigger.
    3. 32p cleaning products or Iams using the ambrosia pot or the porridge as a trigger.
    4. 47p for 8 packs of coke using ambrosia tin of custard as a trigger.
    5. £1 blocks of cheese using Dairylea Triangles as a trigger.
    6. 3 for £10 choccies\biccies
    7. 8 x ww meals for a £4ish apg
    And from T's..
    1. 'Buying' Reloaded for free with vouchers and getting paid 85p per can via PP for every one 'purchased' as cans were only £1 in Asads.
    2. 1p Easter items.
    3. 1p Holloween items.
    4. 4p socks.
    5. 4p undercrackers.
    6. Countless DTDs, whether on phones, batteries, Disney dvds, pork or beef.
    7. The £1 for 2 slabs of Cathedral City glitch.
    8. Cheap dishwasher tabs in Tosco Expresses.
    9. Double vouchers from the car mag and subsequent mags making a load of cleaning products free.
I could go on, but I am sure that to 99% of you, this is old hat!!

I wish you all an amazing Christmas day tomorrow. I know that everyone who reads this message will have no problems cash wise or present wise as it has been such an amazing glitchy year. However, for those of you with other problems, my thoughts (and I am sure everyone else on here feels the same) go out to you and I hope you have a great festive season and your circumstances improve to allow you and your family to have the best Christmas ever.

Probably won't have time to catch up tomorrow as I have all of my family around me, however, hope everything goes well for you all and I will start posting again in a couple of days.

    All the very best.
