    Vodka lovers!

This seems cheap - search "smirnoff glass lindor" on MSM , sorry for some reason I can't get a link to work.

There are more at £1 if you click on the "more spirits & liqueur gift sets" - seem a good price to me?

Only the smirnoff one showing at £1 for me:(

Last night I put turkey and chicken bones in the slow cooker to make some stock. I'm reducing it at the mo, but how much do I reduce it too ?
I've boiled away just over half so far

    Tia

Edit: It had boiled down a bit further than I thought, got around 1 1/2 pints of stock from 5 litres, does that sound about right ?

Half sounds about right, a bit more won't matter.

Are you freezing it? If you do then it will take up less room if you have reduced it more - you can always add water if it is too thick.

I always de-fat it. When it is cool, put it in the fridge uncovered overnight and the fat should rise and set at the top. So you can skim that and through it away.

    Afternoon all.
Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and are not suffering the after effects too much!;)
Back to normal for us now, but I admit to not having set foot inside a shop of any description since the day before Xmas eve.
No trawling the sales in town or even on line come to that. :o
Have debated going out in the evening for whoopsies but just cant work up any enthusiasm for more food!!
Got the last of the turkey in the slow cooker in a cream sauce and will have that tonight in a pie with home made chips.....and I bet I enjoy it that way the best :D

Is there anything worth getting in Tesco at the moment. Bearing in mind it involves a 30 odd mile round trip?
Everyone seems to be saying that the sales are pretty dire this year so didn't know whether the best bargains will be found towards the end rather than the beginning of them.

I need someone to spur me into action. :D
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.
