Morning everyoneTrulyMadly wrote: »Hello Rooted nomad,
How old is your baby today?
Hope you had a great Christmas and a lovely DD birthday:)
Morning Truly Scrumptious(that must be on TV at some stage - it is every Christmas
)
My baby was 19 yesterday and we had a fantastic evening and I am awake already with what will be a humdinger of a hangoverAnd this evening 40+ of her friends will be arriving to take over our house to help her celebrate
So tomorrow I will be hanging something rotten
Christmas was lovely - thank you. We have the traditional celebration and dinner on Christmas Eve when the extended family all gather together and it is lovely to catch up with a lot of people that I don't see regularly throughout the year. Then on Christmas Day we are another family that hole up for the day (think it was Wool who posted?) and repel all boarders. But I missed my eldest as he can't get home till tomorrow, when I will have all my brood around my table again for a few days :j
I have been catching up with the thread (thank you davemorton ) and enjoy reading about all the different ways that folks celebrate Christmas. And sad to hear that the holiday period for some has been a difficult time for a lot of different reasons - huge hugs for those struggling. Onward and upward and warm thoughts and wishes for a better 2013 for everyone0 -
Good morning folks .
Love the pics WestieNever pay more than you have too0 -
Extraordinarily impressive stuff for an organisation that is only 10 years old - fair play to the team at MSE

Just popped out for milk to my local and, as you do, had another look where I looked the other day and there is one Hifi/CD player which was not there yesterday, SEL £22. Took it to the scanner in clothing, and sadly it was £22
So its either newer stock, has been taken back and got a store-corrected price, or T's have corrected the price.

Took us 10 hrs to get from Morondava to Tsingy national park - what a bone crunching journey that was - another road that is impassable in the wet season  A lot of our time was taken up getting from A to B.
Good morning all
Just like to say thanks to everyone that contributes on hereThough I'm mainly here for the banter (and partake in the odd glitch
) you have all helped me in one way or another start to emerge slowly from my shell and self imposed isolation. Living in the sticks means little social interaction but I have had the pleasure of meeting and striking up friendships that I never thought possible and that to me is worth more than any glitch.
Thank you
Oh Westie,
This is lovely. Before I became a regular contributor, I lurked for yonks and it was always your early morning posts that made me smile. Sometimes laugh out loud as everyone would say goodbye for the night and you would pop up with your cheery "good mornings" minutes later....... And your Moggie photos are lovely too:)
Looking forward to "spending" 2013 with you:jTo do is to be. Rousseau

Morning RN,
So pleased you had a scrumptious:) Christmas and birthday celebrations too. You'll be exhausted come the weekend:)
I'm now back at work but it's so hard getting out of bed on these dark wet and windy mornings. Both DD and DS are home from uni and I hate being at work when they are home. Anyway both are in revision mode now so maybe it's best I'm out of the way as I can do that annoying mothering stuff:)
Love to all from a very windy DurhamTo do is to be. Rousseau

Westie, you are very sweet- sometimes I am envious of you living up in big open country... I always dreamed of having land and space.
