Evening all, or should that be morning all? Wide awake as I've just done 2 night shifts, slept most of the day so now I can't sleep. I've been catching up on the thread and am so sorry to read all the sad stories. I hope you all have a better 2013.
I called into T's on my way home from work to see what was on offer in the Big Sale advertised on a big red banner outside. It was really disappointing as there was very little there. There were clothes that had been there on sale from before Xmas, still not selling as they are so awful. The Xmas aisle had stuff that was more expensive in the so called sale than it was before Xmas. I left with a bunch of whoopsied flowers and a pack of Snow bites that I'd only scanned on the ss till to check the price, but the sa had disappeared into the depths of the store so was not able to get them removed.
DS1 came back from his GF's parents and left all his gear dumped in the lounge, so I've just been down and tidied up, cleared up the kitchen, fed the cats and put a washing load in. I can't do anything else cos I don't want to wake DH up, but need to be doing something as I can't sleep, twitch twitch :rotfl:

    Morning!

My understanding of a moon halo is that light from tge sun is being refracted (bent) through the ice flakes ........ Ok erm ........yes its just chuffing cold! Lol! Can't see it here as it's tipping it down! I did get a glimpse a while back of a huge orange moon that I found amazing :)

I'm looking forward to saying goodbye to this year but so many illnesses & uncertainties have arrisen that I'm struggling to see that 2013 will be much better.

    Sorry about spelling!

    Hugs to all xx

    Evening/Morning guys

I travelled back ok today, left at 3.40pm and got home at 7.30, doing a steady 60-70 mph and getting an average 52 mpg, so pleased with that. I didn't need to stop on the way, as the radio 2 Status Quo story kept me rocking along just as I would have been getting tired normally ;) :j :j

I emptied the car, got changed into my pj's and dressing gown, did some washing, got a ready meal out of the freezer, and had a couple of drinks as I caught up on here. I have now packed my case again for travelling down to Portsmouth tomorrow :D

I hope that Tigerwhite, Calmspirit and RN's DD had lovely birthdays and that Hampydoodums' DD2 has a great 21st today

Night Night guys - sleep well

  • Morning all, seems strange saying that at 3.10am, having fallen asleep at 8pm after a few too many Bavaria's! Just to confirm that the hi-fi does scan at 1p, purchsed one to check then another 4 when confirmed. Tesco Value MC211EP Hifi with CD - Black
