The payment will probably stay in your TSB account and will be offset against what you owe. If the payment arrangement is with TSB, the account is probably still open so can't see any reason for the payment to be sent back.

Where i work, when a customer enters into a repayment agreement, the account is not closed. The customer may be told that they no longer have an account, but there is still the facility to accept payments, how do you think your repayments credit your account ? The only credits we would allow a customer access to are benefit payments.

You will need to contact TSB to ask them what their procedures are, i wouldn't assume that it will be returned to the sender.

All i got told from tsb that the current account was closed and no payment would have gone in to any account. They said it would be returned.
All my debt with tsb have been diverted to a debt collection agency
