I'm pretty certain that if that was your first online purchase from them they automatically open an account when you purchase.

That's quite annoying, I was probably told of the account at the time, but didn't register it was a credit account as such. I really don't want it. I am confused though, because the account was opened months before I made my first purchase...

Give next a call, they should be able to explain and close the account.

Hello all, after my last post nearly 2 weeks ago .. (£2942.20 / £7354.26 - 40%/100%) I have now got a new total off.. £3112.79 / £7354.26 - 42.32% / 100% , it's averaging at around 1% a week which I'm really happy with, once I get my wage at the end of the month hopefully I can increase this some more and get under the £4,000 mark for my debts..
This is a list of my debts when I began...
    start with (10 accounts)
TOTAL : £155.00 COUNCIL TAX.. PAID OFF
MUM ARGOS : £150.00 PAID OFF
    HALIFAX : £900.00 ****
    ARGOS : £850.00 ****
    WONGA : £1059.86 ****
    PEACHY : £233.60 PAID OFF
MINI CREDIT : £442.80 PAID OFF
MINI CREDIT : £130.00 PAID OFF
TXT LOAN : £233.00 PAID OFF
    credit card £3200.00 ****
    = £7354.26

    and now I am at..
    HALIFAX : £576.00
    ARGOS : £556.95
    WONGA : £289.05
    credit card £2819.47
    = £4241.47

it feels so good when you can see all your accounts going down and knocking off xx

Oh the joys of being self-employed! I seem to have absolutely no control over when I get paid. I had hoped to have more paid off by now but still haven't been paid for work I did at end of Feb/beginning of March. Will be applying for a mortgage soon so should find out if it gives a better credit score to have smaller balances on two cards or a big balance on just one.
Oh well. This is my total for last couple of months:

A huge sorry, I have been missing since page 156. I have a lot of catching up to do this evening. Hope everyone is still keeping positive. I need to get focused again. Not reading this tread really does make you forget about your debt which I do not want to get in the habbit of doing again. Been there done that!
Any way can I up date please to 1755.03 paid off.
    I will catch up tonight.
