I take it, it is a place to vent about bad service - so why does it attract so many trolls?

I hadn't noticed that there are more than usual trolls on that site. I did notice a number of posters that disagreed with you though. Doesn't make them trolls.
In fact, there are only 13 posters on that thread (57 posts in total) that have a post count lower than 500. A lot of the posters are long term members.
I appreciate your frustration, but I did think that you were rather unpleasant in some of the comments you made. I think that got some posters backs up.0 -

Plenty of others agree with me by the way and I bet they are doing very well in life! They also state I have been treated unfairly for venting about the bad service we received on the appropriate forum.

Not at all, and I am unsure how you managed to reach that conclusion. I did not post on the original thread, but as stated I did feel that it was more your attitude on that thread that caused it to become rather heated rather than it being the work of trolls. If I have an opinion on whether the service was bad/rude etc then I will post on that thread and not here. I am merely responding to your assertion that the thread was being trolled.
I'm sorry to say, but you were rather unpleasant. No, make that rude. I have learnt on this site that rudeness gets you nowhere, one is far better to make ones points calmly than to allow yourself to become riled up and resort to petty insults.0 -

Since when did feeling upset and doing something about it be deemed as being high and mighty? Who are you to judge who I am? I find your tone towards me rather offensive!

But it is OK for me to take theirs isn't it? I must not state how I feel, yet they can? I have been called all sorts of bad names and been insulted but no that is acceptable, yet if I defend myself, it isn't
So being upset at bad service makes me rude does it?

Some people like to play games on the forums, the only piece of advice I can offer is ignore the posts and just dont reply. Soon as you reply they sit clapping hands thinking 'wheyyyyy' I got a reaction.
Too many AE's on the boards and the sooner we get rid of them then the better (I mean the ones out just to cause hassle, not the ones with genuine reasons to have another used ID).0 -
Come off it, they had an oppinion, which people didn't agree with, they got into a strop, nothing to do with AEs or trolls, more to do with some one not getting the hugs they wanted.
And what genuine reason is there for another id?

I meant in general on the forum. This place now has become you dont know who is who anymore. I know of many peeps with other id's and they use them for wind ups, hassle etc etc
Genuine reason for another ID, if you have a problem and feel you cant post with your usual user ID.
