Finally at the end—Halifax pay charges

I first requested my bank stements in August of last year but it seemed like such a daunting task to go through 6 years worth on two accounts. Anyway on 3 March, I finally sent of my letter to the Halifax requesting £1,872 from my two accounts. I received two letters in between telling me that they would be back with me within eight weeks, as agreed with the FSA.

I received a letter today from the Halifax making an offer of £1,322. I called them and told them that I would not take this amount. After some haggling, they have agreed to pay the full amount requested into my accounts within the next two weeks!!
