Anyone looking for Lego could try their local facebook bargains group. I joined our local group and have seen several posts recently offering lego for sale. You do need to have a facebook account but I have bought some lovely bits from local people from our group.0

hi all,
havent been on in ages! If you can remember I was suffering very badly with a herniated disc that had been pressing on my sciatic nerve that badly that I could not feel my left leg and foot. The pain from the disc was horrendous! much worse than childbirth!
Anyway I have had spinal surgery and am on the slow road to recovery now.
Today I have got my Christmas Planning folder under way. Printed lots of planning pages off organised home website and put it all in my folder so I can keep a track of everything and its all in one folder. Sooooo Excited xx
Have just started a new post for us all to share recipes on as i am trying to make a small gift basket of edible gifts along with gift vouchers. so please share share share.
Looking to do some flavoured vodkas for step sister if anyone knows any good recipes. :j0 -

Morning all
Dd has finally decided what she would like as her main gift this year and its sky in her bedroom ! not sure how to wrap that lol, i will wait until after the october hols then have it installed.
We were in B & M buying stuff for college and they have started putting out their gifts , i bought dd a nice little set with slippers and 4 bath items for £3-99.
OMO-sorry to hear about those robbing ba****ds , one of the items that was stolen from my mum a few months back was found on a guy who was out in the middle of the night on a back road and who was hit by a taxi and killed !This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi guys, please can I join this thread? My friends and family think I'm a bit batty going on about Christmas all year round and it'd be nice to have somewhere I'm allowed to get all excited without getting the eye-roll or play christmas songs without being chased from the room
It's my last Christmas at home this year (I'm 24 and flying the nest next year) so I want to enjoy it, and also there will be a little baby in the family for the first time. My niece is being born in about 2 weeks so I can't wait to spoil her!
I've already got all of my wrapping paper, most of my cards and a lot of presents in the sales, and I have a big colour-coded spreadsheet with price paid, money saved on RRP and where the money has come from (vouchers, regift, christmas bonus etc). Yeah, I'm a little obsessive and over-organised :rotfl:
I'm planning to do little christmas eve goody bags for the family too this year, and am enjoying picking up little bits from poundshops and home bargains to fill them up.0 -
Good afternoon all! It's lovely reading through everyone's plans
I popped to the shops yesterday morning as planned and managed to pick up a couple of posh toiletries in the sale in M&S for my mum. We as a family buy lots of little bits each year, so finding some of these in the sale was perfect!
I picked up a royal jelly hand and nail cream tub down from £4 to £1. Some Pure bath & shower milk down from £7.50 to £1 and matching Pure hand lotion down from £6 to £2. So apparently a saving of £13.50 if I've done my maths right there?
I also picked up a pink basket from asda, down from £4 to £2, I thought I could use this to make a little pamper hamper set for my mum. It's like this one... (they also had a blue colour down to £2 too if it's any help to anyone!)
