High gas use - advice please

Cooking is all electric. She does turn it off, I live next door so am always in and out. We're a family of 3, same house, and our gas usage is nowhere near how mum's has come out.
Will phone again with her in a few days and try to get some help.

That is very probably the cause, or bills earlier this year based on (under)estimated readings with this being a 'catch-up' bill.

Yes because your gran has to 'catch up' paying for gas she hasn't paid for yet.

This is why estimated readings are a bad idea. They nearly always result in a shock at some point.

Thanks for all your answers. She keeps all her bills so I'll check back to see if they've been estimated.
