Disability Premium

Does anyone know how long you get the disability part of the WTC. My husband would be entitled to it for the first year but what about the ongoing years.

My OH has been on it for 4 years. Before he was on disabled persons tax credit? or something.

Is it possible to get the disibility part of WTC if you receive IB? But not DLA.

This link may help & it gives a helpline number if you scroll down far enough (0845 605 58 58).

My understanding is that you can't get it if you are on IB (because if you are on IB you are not working, although you may still be employed), but you may be able to get it (if you qualify) when you return to work because you were on IB.

This is the problem, if you were receiving IB in the last 24 weeks (I think) before you go back to work you qualify for it, but what about when you renew your claim will you still get the premium or not because you haven't claimed IB?
