  • This is my cat's 19th Christmas and most days are like Christmas Day to him as he leads a pampered existence, including a heat pad to warm his old bones in the winter and a choice of gourmet cat food to see what tickles his tastebuds.

Although he still loves going outside and is quite active he has never been that interested in toys so his Christmas present will be a nice bowl of boiled coley - something which despite his age he can smell at quite a distance and comes rushing into the kitchen for :)

We have some catnip stored for Frankie but he just likes it sprinkled on the floor, he doesn't react to toys with it in them. Strange boy.

Hope you all have a fab day <3
  • Feel better now :o

Big cat is at this very minute playing with one of the new pole toys with a peacock feather on -he goes nuts for this!:D

Typically they were more for wee cat to try to get some exercise for her (she doesn't go out & is a bit errrr podgy) but she just sits in one place & swipes a paw at anything that goes past ... whereas he (who doesn't need the exercise) pelts around everywhere!

Have also got a Reindeer squeeky soft toy for Maisie & DMs dog!:D

Jesus........I take it all back....mine will be lucky if I feed her let alone anything else.

Crazy bint has developed some kind of mania.

I have just spent an hour putting up and dressing the table for tomorrow (it isn't normally up so does have a novelty factor) , and cat has basically trashed it. I had put a duvet cover over it all to keep it hair-free in case she went on it, but this has made it some kind of 'mania den' and it is all ruined and half on the floor.

Via table she can also get to my one remaining plant so has had a go at that , and the xmas tree has just taken a bashing. She has never done this before. As I am writting this she has just taken a flying leap onto the table again via the back of the sofa...........I give up.

It is dead funny to watch though even though its annoying:D
Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.

More for me than them though!

Can't wait to put a picture of them in it.

Also two stockings that were reduced to 30p in Asda.
  • Bird any chance you can make that pic smaller - it's so big I can't make out what it is even trying to scroll across the screen!

    Or .... what is it?

  • Boo, small Yorkie/Pap cross....bag of doggy chews (doesn't normally have them

Rolo and Phoebe (moggies)....two cat sticks each, wrapped (seems a bit mean, I grant you, but read on....

Ferrets, fifteen of,....one cat stick each, individually wrapped.

Also between them from other people they had more treats (Boo), more treats and a tiny tin of posh cat food each (moggies), more treats and two kitten toys on sticks (ferrets)

Our main present to the ferrets is to have our main group inside for gift-opening. Our main court currently holds six ferrets, so it is insane. Our old lady ferret (a little albino girl) decided that our son's Christmas stocking looked like a cosy place for a nap :D Trouble was that my son hadn't finished emptying it, and proceedings had to be halted while she snoozed on his presents for half an hour :D

Then we brought the rest of them in in their various families to play in the chaos before we tidied away :)
