My washing machine went belly up at 9pm on Friday and I was dreading a Christmas with family washing piling up before I could get a new one delivered (to make it worse, school term had just finished so kids and husband (teacher) had a huge pile of shirts and uniforms to get through).
I ordered on their website at 9.55pm...5 mins before their cut off for next day delivery. It was £9.99 to have it the next day between 7am-7pm (or free for the Sunday or the Monday as they deliver 7 days a week and still had slots available).
They called at 7am to say it would be with me between 11 and 3. They then called again at 10 to check the width, access path, correct postcode and address and to tell me I was 19th on the delivery list and the driver was at number 10 so likely to be 12-1. They came just after 1pm, carried it up the steps and straight through the house with no probs, took the old one away (£9.99 charge) and chatted for 10 mins with my husband about installment tips.
Oh and they have a 10 day no-quibble returns. The driver said I was signing for the goods unpacked so if I unpacked them and found an issue, to call the helpline and they offer me the choice of a discount on the price (I presume this is for scratches and stuff that doesn't affect the running of the machine), a collect and refund or a replacement.
Fantastic service (and the machine was the same price as everywhere else I checked) - 10pm order to 1pm delivery 3 days before Christmas! I'll be going back there for my next appliances.

We used them a couple of years ago and they were good. The lorry broke down with our next day (Saturday) delivery on. These things happen but it's how a company manages and communicates that is important.
They had problems arranging a replacement lorry/staff so refunded our specified time delivery charge and a further 10% off to deliver on Monday at a specified time for free.The man without a signature.0
