Child Saving A/c with internet access (to view balance)?

I want to open a pocket money savings account for my kids (they will get half in cash and half in the account each week). They are only 8 and 6 so it will be initially operated by me in their name. However one thing I am keen is for them to have internet access to see the balance so they can check how their savings are going at any time.
Lloyds would suit as they have a branch near by but their child saver does not seem to allow online access. If the access was via my own internet log in this would not be a problem.
Thanks for any suggestions?

Rather than teach them to look at the balance online I would teach them to put the money into the highest interest paying account.
Virgin money do 3%. Paper statement they can look at0
