Paypal question.

Hi all,

I've just set up a new eBay account with the intention of using it to sell a few bits in order to pay for a specific thing I'm saving up for. I've opened a Paypal account for this account too.

The thing I wanted to know is, I understand at the moment my account is limited, in that I cannot receive or withdraw more than a certain amount of money. Whilst my account is limited, bearing in mind it is verified (bank details and email address) does this mean I won't be able to access my money? I assume I will be able to. I've managed to use my new account to make an online purchase without any trouble...

  • Thanks...I know what I need to do but just now some of it is impossible, ie I cannot afford to buy a passport which is the photo ID they need (I don't drive so a driving license is also something I don't have).

So my question basically was, while my account is limited, am I still able to operate within those limits, as it were, ie sell up to the amount they specify, etc?

I'd ask PayPal to be honest - only they know for sure :-)

Thank you Paddy; I have emailed them to ask after not getting through on the phone.

Thanks Soolin. I only have the one account; they gave me a Premier account. I have verified my email address and my bank account with them so far.
